Each day, there are animal presentations and educational activities featuring the park's animals.
The Animal Presentations last about 25 minutes and you sit in the stands to watch them. You'll discover the physical and intellectual abilities of these extraordinary species: killer whales, dolphins and sea lions.
The Educational Presentations are more intimate sessions that last about 15 minutes, in which you'll learn and discover even more about extraordinary animals like the penguins, turtles, sharks, seals, sea lions, dolphins or killer whales. You will be close to them, standing around the different pools in the company of the keepers or educators.
A legendary animal if ever there was one, our dolphins will seduce you with their grace, their antics and their athletic prowess, all set to music. An exceptional experience not to be missed under any circumstances!
Orca shows will take place at weekends and during school holidays only.
Inspired by their behaviour in the wild, this performance showcases the most impressive killer whale moves. Including hunting, courtship and play, the Killer Whales (Orcas) and their trainers perform exceptional feats of strength, power and grace.
What are the goals of a modern animal park nowadays? How is Marineland involved in scientific research and contributes to conservation? Our educational team is available at the end of the performance to answer any questions you may have.
The keepers come to feed the colony of Humboldt penguins. An opportunity for you to understand why Humboldt penguins are so at home in the Mediterranean climate, their special characteristics and how the keepers manage to tell them apart.
The keepers come to feed the colony of penguins found in Antarctica. This is an opportunity for you to observe these funny sea birds and learn more about these two species that live on the Kerguelen and Crozet islands, i.e. in French territory!
The orca keepers invite you to join them on the " Orca Terrace ", located on the opposite side of the stands for an up-close animal encounter, an opportunity for them to explain the daily life of these ocean giants.
At Marineland, we are lucky enough to have 4 different species of sea lions. During the special sea lion presentation, our keepers will be happy to explain the sometimes subtle differences that exist between the species, as well as introducing you to the different characters.
The Lagoon Team will be happy to help you discover this shy species, which is one of France's wildlife species. It will also be an opportunity to learn more about its critically endangered cousin: the Mediterranean Monk Seal.
After enjoying the sharks from inside the tunnel, continue your journey to the large panoramic window, where an educator will be waiting to answer all your questions and many others during this presentation.
Discover the largest species of sea lion, whose male can weight up to a ton! Since 2007, Marineland is home only to males of this species. The keepers will explain why and teach you more about this impressive species.
