Marineland Association

Raise public awareness of the marine environment and promote the conservation of animal species

The Marineland Association (Law 1901) was created in 2010 to develop, promote and encourage the conservation of animal species and raise awareness of the marine environment amongst the general public. The Marineland Association carries out several flagship initiatives of Research and Conservation with local or national partners. The objective is to get to know marine animals better, to understand them more fully in order to protect them more effectively.

The Marineland Association subscribes unreservedly to the Republican Commitment Contract, which came into force on 2 January 2022, based on the principles of the Republic which are:

  1. Respect for the laws of the Republic
  2. Freedom of conscience
  3. Freedom of the Members of the Association
  4. Equality and non-discrimination
  5. Fraternity and prevention of violence
  6. Respect for the dignity of the human person
  7. Respect for the symbols of the Republic

In this respect, the Marineland Association undertakes to publicise its subscription on its main channels, in particular its website, to ensure that this contract is respected by all its members and to put an end to any breach of which it is aware.
