Smaller than the domestic pig, it can weigh up to 150 kg.

They are much smaller than farm pigs (between 40 and 150 Kg against 300 Kg). Like other pigs, they are very intelligent animals that make lovely pets, provided their owner's home is suitable. They can live between 10 and 20 years and they feed on everything they find: plants, animals or detritus. After 4 months of gestation, females can have 1 to 12 young that they nurse for 3 to 4 months.
