	WORKING AT MARINELAND Due to its specific nature, Marineland is both a zoological park and sea research centre, as well as being one of the Côte d’Azur’s large-scale tourist attractions. SUMMER JOBS Each year we employ students who are available to work at weekends. We offer them day contracts for Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. We also offer contracts for all school holiday periods (All Saints, Christmas, February and Easter). Students who prefer to concentrate completely on their studies during the academic year can join us on a full-time basis in the summer (July and August). The main posts on offer are as follows: - Till operator - Versatile Merchandising Employee - Versatile Catering Employee and Catering Team Leader - Versatile Entertainment Employee - Versatile Ferme du Far West Employee - BNSSA (water safety certificate) and BEESAN (state swimming certificate) holders (Aqua-Splash) - Security Employee We offer fixed term, seasonal contracts on a full or part-time basis (from 20 to 35 hours per week) to candidates both with and without experience, and students from both France and abroad (as long as they have a permit allowing them to work as a salaried employee in France), from 18 and upwards. The hours are flexible because of our type of activity, but the working week usually lasts 5 days (with 2 rest days). INTERNSHIPS Round off your education with a practical and unusual internship! Being an intern at MARINELAND is an excellent way to gain valuable experience. Paid internships involve all our businesses and all profiles, ranging from people holding CAP/BEP training certificates to those with a Master's degree. There are several types of internship: - Operational (involving all field activities, such as as reception, catering, costumes, maintenance and gardening), - Administration (marketing, finance, HR, etc.), - Animal (mammals, aquarium, etc). Your tutor will accompany you in all your missions. Terms: 18 years old minimum, of European nationality, with a mandatory training agreement. Fluent English is recommended (except posts in cooking, gardening and maintenance). Try for the 2010-2011 school year. These internships explore the business and are for pupils aged 12 to 14. MARINELAND welcomes secondary school children from the Alpes Maritimes département during periods defined in collaboration with the Nice education authority.
